For those of you who don’t know Organised Chaos Productions is about nurturing theatrical talent in the most chaotically organised way you could imagine. The company was set up to help and support undiscovered and emerging talent in Manchester and the North West by looking after all the planning, marketing etc so that they could concentrate on being creative.

From our 2009 Script Call four scripts were chosen – all debuting in Manchester in 2010 with great reviews some of the scripts went on to be performed as part of the Buxton Fringe Festival, Preston Tringe Festival, Write Now Festival, and New Wimbledon Studio Theatre. We chose two scripts from our 2010 call which were produced in 2011. Both debuting in Manchester and going to further venues in Buxton and Salford. We also produced the debut of All Because Of Molly – one of the 2010 24:7 Theatre Festivals rehearsed readings - debuting in Manchester at The Lowry and going on to Square Chapel, Arts Pavilion Centre, The Lantern Theatre and The Continental.

The two scripts from our 2011 script call, Bottled Wasps and AfterWords gained Arts Council funding and debuted in Manchester in 2012 going on to tour the North West - Underground Venues (Buxton Fringe Festival), New Continental (Preston Tringe Festival), Lantern Theatre, Square Chapel. AfterWords won Best New Writing at the Buxton Fringe Festival.

The winning scripts from our 2012 script call, Broken and A Lot Of It About had a North West tour in 2013 taking in The Lowry, The Square Chapel, The Lantern Theatre, The Oldham Coliseum, The Pavilion Arts Centre and Underground Venues (Buxton Fringe Festival).

The winning script from the 2013 script call, Boy On A Bed, debuted at The Lowry last year before going on to the Buxton Fringe Festival, the second script from the call, The Distance Between Stars, debuted at The Kings Arms and had a mini North West tour.

The winning script from our 2014 call, Lightspeed, had a North West tour in 2015 taking in Square Chapel Centre For The Arts, The Lowry, Korova Arts Cafe & Bar, Lowther Pavilion, Pavilion Arts Centre, Lantern Theatre, Civic Arts Centre, Buxton Fringe Festival, The Kings School, Smiths, The Kings Arms, Oldham Library..

We will be looking for new scripts to work with and debut in a North West tour.
