Paul Buie is an award-winning playwright with seven professional productions to
his name including Jump You Bastard which won the Customs House New Comedy Award
and Painkillers which toured throughout the country and had a successful month at
the Edinburgh Fringe. He has worked with theatre companies in Derby, Newcastle and
Sussex and is delighted to have the chance to work with Organised Chaos Productions
for the first time with Bottled Wasps.
Director - Julie Burrow
Julie is a performer, writer and director. She received a Forever Manchester Award
for directing multi-arts event ‘Montage Of Misery’ (5 stars, Large Manchester) in
the Not Part Of Festival 2011. She currently writes, directs and performs solo comedy
act ‘Spoken Word Snail’. She has also worked as a Clown Doctor, dedicated street
theatre and live art performer and as a storyteller.
Stage Manager - Gary Horler
Gary graduated in Contemporary Theatre and Performance from Manchester Metropolitan
University in 2011. He has a passion for all areas of theatre and live art, and is
experienced both on, and off the stage and hopes his range of knowledge will benefit
the team. He is a founder member and producer of a contemporary performance company
based in the North West. Gary has previously been on the production team for the
FLARE Festival of new performance (2011), and was stage manager at the Greenroom’s
CAST Fest (2010). He has also worked extensively with up-and-coming South Yorkshire
based Community theatre company, Far Out Theatre.
Credits to his name include: ‘All that’s Left’ (2011), ‘According to Richard Thomas’
(2010) at the Roundhouse, Camden and Shakespeare’s ‘A Midsummer Night’s Dream’ (2011).
