A Lot Of It About

Ben has struggled all his life with his sexuality. Now middle-aged and in what he feels is a loveless marriage, he argues with his younger self about the events in his life that have led to him feeling worthless and unfulfilled, reliving key moments with the people concerned. But is his life really the write-off he imagines?

When the debate concerning the effects of sex aversion therapy on men in the ‘60s and ‘70s recently re-surfaced it raised questions about the expectations we have of our so-called ‘caring’ society towards minorities - and our responsibilities to ourselves.

A Lot of it About is based on a true story.
